Geocaching Adventures #4

Clicking on the underlined photo titles will take you to the Geocaching.com page that describes the cache and gives you the coordinates to get there yourself.

Spawn of Seed Pod

Anyone who has been Geocahing for a little while has seen one of these micro-caches.  While it is a unique hiding place, the novelty wears off after you realize theres one in every parking lot.

Hiker Rons Hideout

This cache is by far the most unique I have seen yet.  The cache is hidden in the guardrail right next to the sign.  CLICK HERE to see a close up of the guardrail and see if you can spot it.  If you can't tell where it is at then CLICK HERE to see the spoiler.

Along the Way #10

This is another great cache that took some thought and creativity.   It is a micro cache that was hidden off a trail along the way to a couple of popular caches in the area.   Can you see this one?  Try clicking on the picture first to see the full size image, then CLICK HEREto actually see it.

General Pattons Own

While on my trip to Fort Knox Kentucky I found time to do some Geocaching. This one was at the Patton Museum. I had been here a couple of times before but didn't even know these tanks sat behind the museum. To see the actual hiding place click Here!

Old Turnpike Bridge

This cache was along an old 1800's turnpike that has been turned into a park. There were a series of caches along this road but this one was the neatest. To see this caches hiding place click Here!

Old Mill Foundation

I introduced a couple of friends to geocaching and they had a great time. George found this one among the rocks that were once a foundation to a mill that burnt down in the 1880s. Click HERE to see him pulling the cache from its hiding place.  George's wife, Mandy, also found one between some steps at a local Nature Center. Click HERE to see Mandy and her find.
